Manufactured to the same exacting standards the Red-wood models offer superb value for money and all wall, floor and roof section are supplied ready treated with preservative.
The Alton Charlecote summerhouse is a fine redwood summerhouse or garden room.
|
Whilst the red-wood used is of a high quality, it does not have the same enduring properties as cedar-wood. It will be necessary to retreat your Alton red-wood summerhouse from time to time, just like a garden shed or softwood timber used in the garden, to help prolong its life.
Please note the slatted roof option is not available on the Alton Red-wood range of summerhouses.

Robust framing, mostly 32mm x 44mm planed deal, with 12mm tongue and groove cedar cladding secured with stainless steel nails.
Strong floors, 14mm tongue and groove deal boards on 44mm x 32mm framing, treated with preservative by total immersion.

Timber Treatment: Your Alton summerhouses will leave the works treated with a special timber preservative. It is recommended that you treat your Alton cedar-wood greenhouse again within 3 months with a good brand of spirit based timber preservative, and then every other year.
